Jesus not only blessed people of Cana, but also glorified his Father God in his first sign of turning water to wine. The latter was the most important to Jesus
Jesus blessed a marriage, but did not reproach it.It is the will of His Father too.Cana-in-Galilee was Nathanael`hometown(John21-2).He was an Israelite worthy of the name.and there was nothing false in him.He became a disciple of Jesus. He blessed the Cana`wedding for Natanael also.So that he changed water into wine. For in that wedding wine was deficient. But for my health I do not drink wine. What does this miracle of turning water to wine tell us about Jesus?
Changing water into wine is the first miracle Jesus did at the banquet.
It also teaches us that in the end God will reign the whole heaven as the end is also good. By: Kathleen Terado - February 06, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Changes Water to Wine

What does this miracle of turning water to wine tell us about Jesus?
That his powers are not earthly. Nobody can turn water into wine. We have to be careful though not to see it as only a `magical trick` to show his power, not only because we must not tempt him like the devil did, but also because we must keep solidly in mind the fact that the real miracle is the one of transforming us the old wineskins in new ones ready to hold the outpouring of the spirit. Which is the greater miracle, he said, the fact that you can walk or that you are free from sin? By: Alessandra Parrini - January 13, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Changes Water to Wine

That He wants us to be happy, even though the wine wasn`t on the same level as other miracles it pleased His mother and host, so He did it for them. By: Joi Sinclair - January 12, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Changes Water to Wine (1) Comments

What does this miracle of turning water to wine tell us about Jesus?
Jesus was ready to begin to show the world His Power so that we would more readily believe Him and follow His teachings. By: Patty - January 04, 2007 - Public Category: Jesus Changes Water to Wine
The third day, there
was a marriage in Cana of Galilee. Jesus' mother was there. Jesus also was invited, with his
disciples, to the marriage. When the wine ran out, Jesus'
mother said to him, "They have no wine."
Jesus said to her,
"Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My
hour has not yet come." His mother said to the
servants, "Whatever he says to you, do it." Now there were six water pots of
stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece. Jesus said to them, "Fill the water pots with water." They filled
them up to the brim. He
said to them, "Now draw some out, and take it to the
ruler of the feast." So they took it. When the ruler of the feast tasted
the water now become wine, and didn't know where it came from (but the
servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the
bridegroom, and said to
him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have
drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until
now!" This beginning
of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his
disciples believed in him.
